IP paging for your workplace
IP paging turns your phone system into a public address system. Staff dial a paging extension from any phone and speak, and the announcement plays through speakers across the warehouse, workshop, school or office. Paging amplifiers can also play background music between announcements.
The Snom PA1+ is a compact paging amplifier powered over the network cable. It drives existing 600-ohm speakers and can connect to a larger PA system, so you can often reuse speakers you already have.

- Calling staff to reception or to a phone in warehouses and yards
- Announcements across multi-floor offices, schools and clinics
- Background music in reception and shared spaces
- Switching external devices, such as a door opener or warning light, with the relay contacts

Can I use my existing speakers?
Often, yes. The Snom PA1+ drives existing 600-ohm speakers and can connect to a larger amplifier or PA system. Tell us what you have and we’ll check.
Does a paging amplifier need its own power point?
No. The Snom PA1+ is powered over the network cable from a PoE switch.
How do staff make an announcement?
They dial the paging extension from any phone on the system and speak.
Can it play background music?
Yes. The PA1+ can play background music between announcements.
